Are there any visual distinctions?
In the lead-up to the launch, there was a discussion about an eventual downgrade in graphics to those DLC courses. The courses would not be at an artistic level with the slopes of the primary game and will be inexplicably portable.
After carefully examining the eight courses, we can’t verify the lovelessness and only a noticeable difference in some areas. Some courses appear to be a bit behind the primary game. For instance, the textures on the Toad’s track appear more undetailed and look less plastic. This can be seen in grassy areas, for instance. This provides the game with a more comic book-like look.
The differences can be seen in driving through the levels in a normal manner, but there’s no way to compare tracks with each other in this game directly, and because you are focused on drifting, items, or other drivers in the race in general, this aspect is not significant in our view. Overall it is clear that the DLC tracks give an an acceptable visual impression however they don’t stand out in particular.

Is there anything else that is not included?
The DLC is referred to as a “booster track pass” It’s true, and it was evident what we received. We would, however, like to have seen a few new coasters or even brand driver changes*.
