I had the chance to get a glimpse into Interwoven Stories, which will be released on the 14th of December 2021, at the presentation I attended, and afterward, I was happy to be reunited with Cassandra in Assassin’s Conquest Valhalla. The free crossover event features two story-based episodes, both set in AC Valhalla and AC Odyssey, and merges the tales of both protagonists in AC Odyssey.
Infested with nightmares
In the Island of Mist, people suffer from nightmares that are terrifying and then begin to experience panic due to sleep deprivation. Seers have journeyed across Scotland to visit you, and on her arrival on the island, she asks for your assistance in determining the cause of the mystery. However helpful Eivor has been, you quickly embark on a journey to the Isle of Skye island. When you arrive, a mysterious image appears, and during your study, you encounter Cassandra, whom you believe to be the source of the nightmares . But is she? is she?
It is the Island of Mist
For the free cross-over episode from the game Assassin’s creed Valhalla, You’ll be traveling to Scotland and discovering the unique area. It’s manageable; however, having a brand-new map is impressive for a free crossover. The island was designed visually appealing; in particular, the reddish foliage will remain in my mind for a long time. The quest to cross paths is thrilling, although I would’ve liked to see a more epic conclusion – however, there are new possibilities that have been discovered and will be explored in subsequent segments. Apart from the main quest, you’ll also see some tattoos in the new zone that are believed to provide Eivor with an ethereal Greek personal touch. I’m not a big fan of flying papers, but I’m glad I’ve fared better at catching them in this area. One of the highlights is, in fact, can be the Spear of Leonidas. It will be given to you after finishing the story. It brings the memories of the battles from Odyssey.
It’s the Sound of the Island
The background music is well created The background music is excellent – Nordic sounds are paired with a hint of Greek atmosphere. Suppose the right tones resonated with me. I had the same issue: I heard only unsettling drumming, not the music intended to be open-world. The only way to fix this is to be resolved by loading my save. The voices also seemed somewhat oddly balanced. On the one hand, I feel like Eivor is calling out her friends, and when they respond with a snarl, I’m not sure if I comprehend them at all. When using headphones, the volume variations are particularly noticeable and affect the immersion. I want to laud the fantastic voice acting talent of Melissanthia Mahut, who has already voiced Cassandra, the fiery Cassandra In OdysseyMy heart is bursting with joy each when I hear her call Malaka.
I enjoyed the interconnected storyline in the Assassin’s creed series is fantastic since I have already held Cassandra very close to my heart in Odyssey. I like the concept of crossover stories attractive, and I would love to have more of them going forward. The journey into the Isle of Mists could have been dealt with slightly more epically, but I fear that a stone is about to be set in motion there, and it could impact how the franchise will develop in the coming years. series. So, it’s a complimentary addition to ensure that as many people as possible enjoy the interwoven tales. And , more Cassandra? I’m sure I’ll take this! Since – without divulging too much about the ending in Odyssey, the Greek fighter is particularly rich in sufficient material to continue storylines. Of course, this is my inner optimist speaking; however, when times are like this, especially before the Christmas season – it’s okay to dream of something in the end. Please excuse me, for I am leaving for Greece shortly, where the next interwoven tale awaits me. I’ll be sure to be sharing with you!
